Making Peg Dolls Tour: Sacred Dirt

artwork by Faith Pray: Sacred Dirt

Today we have Faith Pray of the blog Sacred Dirt waving flags at the end of the blog tour parade.  Please allow me to make introductions...

Faith is a writer and has finally completed the manuscript for her novel (which is the first in a three part series.)  She is also a prolific doodler (i.e. an artist) and Empress of Puns Extraordinaire (on her blog you will find wordplay and comical turns of phrase around every corner!)

You will also meet her four children who keep busy painting & drawing...

Digging & climbing, whirling, twirling, jumping, stomping, and obviously having a rollicking good time.

Faith seems to be an endless source for creative adventures with her children... This post here had me laughing hysterically (apparently Faith was inspired to give a hammer to her toddler?)

Then, scrolling through her blog I came across this post here where Faith & Co. had fun with paper chameleon cut-outs.  And an added bonus to Faith's posts is that she always ends with a list of thematic book suggestions.  For her chameleon post she suggested Blue Chameleon by Emily Gravett, Chameleon's Colors by Chisato Tashiro and A Color of His Own by Leo Lionni.  Fun, fun, fun!!

I hope you enjoy meeting Faith today over at Sacred Dirt, and while you are there, you can leave a comment under Faith's post for an opportunity to win a copy of Making Peg Dolls!
